Membership benefits
Members of the community have:
- Access to the work meetings
- Unrestricted access to the online platform (reports, documents, online discussions,...)
- Access to the community mailing list, news, and calendar.
Each member organisation is invited to actively participate and to provide input.
Several employees of a member organisation can participate in the community.
Online platform
All documents that are shared in the community are posted on the online platform, and are available to the members only.
Documents contain a.o. technical information, trends, reports on standardisation meetings and conferences,...
Topics include diverse aspects of wireless communication, both from a hardware and network perspective.
Several employees of a member organisation can get access to the online platform.
Work meetings
A work meeting consists of a series of presentations by the members, followed by a discussion and a networking drink.
The objective of the work meetings is to:
- Present and discuss recent technological trends, standards, conferences,...
- Round off discussions started on the online platform
- Offer a networking opportunity between research institutes, industry, and innovation actors
The programme of the work meetings are made up by the members.
Electronic versions of the presentations, as well as a report of these work meetings, are made available on the online platform (in English).
On average, the community organises 3 work meetings per year.
Membership fees
As a compensation for the services offered by the community, a member organisation will pay an annual membership fee.
The annual fees are (excl VAT):

| Small companies | 250 EUR |
| Academic organisations | Free of charge |
| Network organisations | Free of charge |
Members of Member Network Organisations get a discount of 20%.
Members of the MultiMedia Community (www.mume-community.com) get a discount of 40%.
